Sport Overview
Postponement has been decided for the World Masters Games 2021 Kansai.
The new dates are being arranged.
Please note that the followings are the information before the postponement was confirmed.
In mountain bike racing, competitors on mountain bikes tackle courses that run along unpaved mountain roads and similar off-road terrains.
The World Masters Games 2021 Kansai will feature the following events: the cross-country Olympic, cross-country marathon and team race.

Eligibility
・Exclude the following competitor: UCI ranking holder, at least 1 point. / Member of a team registered with the UCI.
・To compete in the Cross Country・Olympic event, each athlete must hold a valid licence issued by their national federation which is a member of the Union Cycliste Internationale. A ‘Special Event Licence’ will be available for the athletes who do not hold the licence. The athletes can register “Special Event licence” at the venue with valid identification (i.e., passport, driving licence).
This licence is valid only for participating in the World Masters Games
2021 Kansai. The fee for this licence is 1,000 yen.

Sports Equipment Rental
If an athlete wishes to rent equipment, he/she needs to fill out the form with his/her height at the time of entry. This must be reported. A member of the competition committee will be in touch thereafter.
