Postponement has been decided for the World Masters Games 2021 Kansai.

Handball is a sport which is played by 7 players per team (one is a goalkeeper) using a palm-sized ball and shoot against the goal of the opponent to score. Three elements of 'running, throwing, jumping' are essential, and the highlights of this sport are speedy offence/defense and jump shoots with dynamic movement.

* The age of youngest registered team member determines which age category the team will compete in.

Eligibility

Nothing in particular
In the competitive event, no individual application for participation is allowed.
In the recreational event, individual application for participation is allowed. The members of each team will be decided by the organiser.
Athletes can only participate in either the competitive event or the recreational event, but not in both.

Age Requirement

Minimum age is 30 (born on or before 31st December 1992)
In line with the sport-specific rules, an athlete must compete in their designated age group, with your age determined as at 31st December 2022.
For example, if you are 39 during Games time but have turned 40 by 31st December 2022, you would compete in the 40+ age category.
